The palazzetto has a private garden and is located in a charming campiello with a fountain and lively neighborhood cafes. It is a beautiful 10 minute walk from the Accademia Bridge, Campo dei Frari, and the Zattere. The San Basilio and Ca'Rezzonico vaporetto stops are also 10 minutes away. The house is near the Church of San Nicolo' dei Mendicoli, one of the oldest in Venice, and near the venerable school of Architecture at Universita' Ca' Foscari. This is a vibrant Venetian neighborhood where savvy travelers can immerse themselves in Venetian life.
The apartment is architect restored with careful attention to traditional Venetian materials. The marble floors and beamed ceilings throughout the building make staying in this house an authentic Venetian experience. Pieces from my painting and photography collection are on display.

Our house manager, Natasha, will greet you and show you around the house and the neighborhood so you feel at home right away. There is always someone available by phone and a short time away to handle anything my guests need. There is a washer & dryer. Weekly maid service is included.

It is light and cool in the summer and warm in the winter, with heated marble floors of Carrera and Rosso di Siena marble. The clever kitchen is stainless steel and has everything you need for longer stays. French mirrored doors lead to a charming bedroom with brocade drapes in classic Venetian fabric and motif, an original beam ceiling, and generous closet space. This room can be set-up as a double bed or two singles. Behind wooden doors reached from the salotto there is an exquisite African malachite marble bathroom with a large mirror, in room shower and bidet.

This beautiful and bright apartment occupies the entire 2nd floor of the building, providing a light and airy atmosphere with good cross ventilation. The largest of the apartments, it comfortably sleeps 4-5 guests with room to host up to 8 for a meal.
There are two exquisite mosaic bathrooms with a tub, showers, and bidets. The stainless steel and wood kitchen/sitting room features a 19th century dining table and a great view of the campiello and the local life that passes through it. The master bedroom has two windows, a double bed, wooden ceiling and a large closet. The studio/second bedroom is reached through heavy wooden double doors. It is an independent, very elegant room with desk, wardrobe and private entrance. The 14th century marble mosaic at the entrance to the apartment welcomes you to this special place. Up 10 steps from the second floor, with its own private entrance, the third floor occupies the entire floor of the building. Its slanted high ceilings and exposed beams provide a light and airy atmosphere that is both cozy and expansive. The master bedroom has a double bed OR two singles and features beautiful etched windows. It overlooks the private garden and is very quiet. The European style lavender mosaic bathroom has elegant appointments.
The marble kitchen is in one corner of the salotto. This room, with two day beds and a crystal dining table for 6, is spacious and has its own elegant gray bathroom across the private hall. Out the double windows, you have a view of the Riello and the local life that passes through it.
